She is Charlotte book launch

I've been quiet on this blog for more than than a year, but it's not because I've ceased writing and working. Quite the opposite! I've been busy busy busy writing a book! And I'm so excited to share it with you now. She is Charlotte: A Mother's Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Journey with Her Child with Medical Complexities is the story of my daughter's fetal diagnoses and the struggle for her life.

After giving many talks and sharing the story of our daughter's struggles and the miracles we've witnessed through her, I was continually told "you should write a book!" It was all a God thing, from start to finish. He brought me the most amazing publisher, Blue Heron Book Works, LLC. He kept whispering to my heart, "write the book, write the book, write the book."

And now, after a year and a half, it is written and ready to publish! In fact, the book will be available for order on Amazon starting December 3rd. Yahoo! To celebrate, we are hosting a virtual launch party that day at 10:00a.m. EST. Mark your calendars and use this link to RSVP. Join us as we celebrate the hope this story is sure to share with readers!

This book is part of a comprehensive effort to support parents and caregivers of medically complex children. Charlotte's Hope Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to support, encourage and educate parents and caregivers of children with medical complexities, embracing each family’s reality with an outlook of hope and empowering them as capable advocates for their child’s optimal quality of life.

My founding partner, Ashlyn Thompson, also has a daughter with complexities and together we are beyond excited to walk alongside families in their greatest time of need.

Charlotte's Hope Foundation offers:

• support for these families,

• a podcast called Empowered by Hope, set to launch in the coming weeks,

• an online directory of resources for families (to be built),

• the book She is Charlotte,

• and the vision goes far beyond.

The positive impact we can have on these children and families is endless!

You can follow our Facebook and Instagram pages as these things develop and soon we will have a website live at www.CharlottesHopeFoundation.org.

Please join us for the book launch this coming Saturday morning and share this invitation with anyone you think might be excited to celebrate, too. We are so excited to see what God will do with this book and through this Foundation!
